The Open and Free courses available through OLI do not provide any certification, credits, or verification of completion.

The Open and Free courses available through OLI do not provide any certification, credits, or verification of completion. If you would like to receive credit or certification for completing a course, you will need to make arrangements with an institution that provides credits or certification, starting with your local community college or another institution that can provide credits can be a good first contact point. OLI does not provide credits.

For your OLI course, your “My Scores” gradebook is the only evidence that you have progressed through an Open and Free course. However, please note that the gradebook data may be limited and not what you need. Please make sure to go through the first modules in a course to see what information you have in the My Scores. You can take images from the My Scores and paste them into a separate document along with information from the course details webpage as your own evidence of progressing through the course. If you plan to present this progress to a workplace or school, please make sure that this is what you need before you progress through the whole OLI course.
