Do you have an OLI Account ID or do you access your course from a link set up by your instructor?
If you are accessing a course set up by your instructor, please check their directions as the course may be only accessible from a link set up inside your school's system while you are signed in to your school's system - with no OLI account and password.
Are you enrolled in an OLI course?
If you are enrolled in an OLI course, your contact email address would have received an email with the subject "OLI Course Registration". You can search for "OLI Course Registration". Please consider if you used another email address such as a school, personal, or work email address.
What is my OLI Account ID?
If you have an OLI Account ID, your contact email address would have received an email with the subject "Welcome to OLI" that includes your Account ID and where to access your course. You can search for "Welcome to OLI". Consider if you used another email address, work, school, or personal.
The most common OLI Account ID is your email address (or another email address you may be using). If you have an OLI Account ID, then you would have received a confirmation email
Where is my OLI account and course enrollment?
While most OLI courses are at oli.cmu.edu, several servers including oli.cmu.edu, k12.oli.cmu.edu, community.oli.cmu.edu.
What is my password?
If you have an OLI Account ID that is accessed through one of the OLI servers, click the "Forgot your password?" link at the Sign In page, then enter your Account ID and click Request Password. If you don't know your Account ID, then enter your Last Name and Email Address and click Request Password.
Where is my password reset?
If you do not receive a password reset email with the subject "OLI Account and Password" within a couple minutes of resetting my password, check your Spam folders. If you still can't find the password reset, then email OLI Help at oli-help@cmu.edu for assistance. Some email addresses will not accept password resets sent automatically by OLI.
