Thank you for your interest in the OLI Open & Free courses.
To get started with the courses, please Sign Up for an OLI account here (or sign in with an existing account at oli.cmu.edu):

Once you are signed in, click "Add open & free courses..." from your My Courses landing page to view the list of available courses.
There you will find a complete list of our courses with short descriptions of each course's curriculum. To enroll in a course click the "Enter Course" link for the course(s) and it will appear on your My Courses page. You will be able to access your course(s) at any time by signing into OLI from http://oli.cmu.edu.
Please note that OLI does not provide course credit. If you would like to receive credit or certification for completing the course you will need to make arrangements with a learning institution to identify a course offering that comes with credits or a certificate.
There is no limit to the number of courses you can enroll in (there is no course key for the Open & Free or Independent Learner courses). The materials are all self-guided and allow you to learn at your own pace -- there is no schedule.
If you experience technical problems while working in a course you can always click the "Help" button in the upper right corner of a course page for assistance.
